Street Artist Ben Eine Gives Special Welcome Home to Festive Flyers

A London-based street artist has created a collection of bespoke Welcome Home banners for people returning to the UK for Christmas.

Heathrow Terminal 2 airport has partnered with prolific London-based street artist, Ben Eine, to create a range of personalised banners, for family and friends to make greeting their loved ones extra special this year.

Ben Eine, an east London artist known for his eye-grabbing fonts and stencil work, created a range of banners for family and friends to use at the terminal to greet returning loved ones.

The 15th December will see Heathrow’s busiest day of the year with over 94,000 arrivals, while 2.5 million people will pass through the airport over the Christmas period.

A lucky few passengers will be receiving Ben’s special Welcome Home from their friends and family.

Heathrow Terminal 2 airport has partnered with prolific London-based street artist, Ben Eine, to create a range of personalised banners, for family and friends to make greeting their loved ones extra special this year.

Commenting on his latest project, Ben Eine said; “I’m always travelling and spend a lot of time in airports so I know what it feels like to get a personal welcome home. I wish I got more of them!

“I love being able to communicate through my artwork and I am looking forward to helping to put a smile on the faces of people arriving into London Heathrow this Christmas.”

The banners, which take on Ben Eine’s inimitable bright and bold style, are available to download in three colourful variations.

Heathrow Terminal 2 airport has partnered with prolific London-based street artist, Ben Eine, to create a range of personalised banners, for family and friends to make greeting their loved ones extra special this year.

Over 1,000 people visit the airport each day just to give their loved ones an extra special welcome.

Fiona Carleton, Head of Passenger Experience at Heathrow, said “We hope the banners help families and loved ones create their very own special moment together – I can’t wait to see the hugs and smiles from passengers when they see the messages awaiting them.”

All donations for the personalised banners from the terminals will go to Heathrow’s charity partner, Oxfam.

To be in with the chance to claim a beautifully finished personalised Ben Eine for Heathrow print, fans can also go online and sign up for one of the limited edition collection.
