Step into a magical winter garden at The Roof Gardens on Saturday 10th December and enjoy the ultimate festive family experience. For one day only, our resident flamingos will take on the role of ‘Santa’s little helpers’ as Father Christmas pays a special visit 100ft above Kensington High Street.
Between 11am – 4pm, youngsters are invited to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment including Christmas crafts and festive films before meeting the guest of honour, Father Christmas. Parents can relax in the Gardens with a drink in hand as they are treated to a warming glass of mulled wine and mince pies against the background of classic carols from a roaming live band; meanwhile the BBQ grills will also be fired up offering an assortment of gourmet seasonal dishes with prices starting from £10.
Tickets are priced at £10 for children and £15 for adults*, and are available from Ticketweb. 10% of ticket sales will be donated to The Roof Gardens’ chosen charity Starlight.
Starlight grants once-in-a-lifetime wishes for seriously and terminally ill children, restoring the magic and fun of childhood and giving the whole family happy memories to share, whatever the future holds. Starlight also creates entertainment in every hospital and hospice throughout the UK. Poorly children go to Starlight parties, laugh their way through pantomimes, go out on Starlight Escapes, play games and watch films on the Starlight Fun Centre, and enjoy the toys and puzzles of the Starlight Distraction Box. Happy children respond better to treatment and Starlight helps children to forget about their illness and simply have a bit of fun.
