An ideal Marvel movie for youngsters, Spider-Man also has lots to offer  adults, from Robert Downey-Jr as the sardonic Tony Stark to a nostalgic vibe that harks back to 80s teen movies.

The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature

When we last saw adorable Surly, Buddy and Andie they were living happily in Liberty Park – but now the park’s due to be torn down! This animated sequel sees the squirrels and chums working together to save their home, a story that involves a host of new characters including a crooked mayor with a hyperactive, dognapping daughter… Listen out for Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl and Maya Rudolph and Jackie Chan in this family watch that’s as action-packed as it is mischievously funny.

Who can resist a Kung Fu penguin living in the jungle who thinks he’s a tiger? Join Maurice and his gang of animated animals as they go on a mission to protect their jungle home. This is the first big screen outing for the merry bunch of misfits, who include a goldfish, a tarsier and a gorilla – and kids will love the army of silly baboons lead by Igor the evil Koala.

The Lego Ninjago Movie

If you’ve seen the Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie, you’ll be as excited as we are about the latest spin-off. The Lego Ninjago Movie opens up a whole new world as lego Ninjas and Samurai take on dragons and snake-men. The action kicks in when evil warlord Lord Gagmadon tries to come back from the underworld, unleashing mayhem and crazy combat galore. Expect bucketloads of irreverent humour – these gags come thick and fast and really zing for kids and adults. Listen out for Dave Franco, Olivia Munn and Jackie Chan.
