Etac R82, the trusted specialist in assistive products for disabled children and adults, has had a highly successful exhibition demonstrating its wide ranging equipment and expertise at Kidz to Adultz North (Stand A17/A18, 17.11.16, Event City, Manchester).

On stand A17/A18 Etac R82 debuted the largest number of new products ever launched simultaneously at a Kidz event. The Kidz series of regional shows, organised by Disabled Living, provide parents, carers and therapists with the opportunity to see the latest products and services that assist disabled children and young adults. As one of the leading manufacturers at the show, Etac R82 showcased an impressive and diverse product range and was supported by Frances George, Specialist Physiotherapist. As a leading expert in paediatric physiotherapy, Frances was able to explain why R82 products deliver a significant improvement to the lives of many disabled children in her care and beyond. The Kidz stand was spilt into zones that individually focused on specific areas of support including functional education, standing and walking, bathing and toileting, and general mobility.
All R82 products generated high levels of interest however the new folding Scallop seating system, Gazelle standing frame and Wombat activity chair delivered significant show highlights. Ample toys and games were available on the stand so children could engage in play whilst trialling new products and giving parents time to discuss individual needs with Etac R82 Product Advisors. For children with Cerebral Palsy Frances explained the benefits of abducted standing in the Gazelle. She also highlighted the remarkable effectiveness of the new fabric-based Scallop seat and demonstrated how the functionality of the Wombat chair is at the forefront of assistive development.
On a completely redesigned stand, Etac R82 will once again be showcasing its market-leading product portfolio at The OT Show, NEC, 23rd – 24th November.
