Why Winnie’s still a ‘bear’ necessity
Topping eBay.co.uk bear ranking
Despite Rupert Bear celebrating his 95th birthday this Sunday, it is his close rival Winnie the Pooh who tops eBay.co.uk’s bear ranking.
In the last three months, over 450 Winnie the Pooh related items have been sold everyday on site, that’s 19 per hour.
Meanwhile the much loved Peruvian Bear, Paddington, comes second in the bear ranking, selling more than 50 products per day while Rupert waddles into third place selling 22 per day[1] including collectable books, soft toys and his famous yellow scarf[2].
