Can you spot the beautiful ballerina? Look carefully and you’ll find her hiding amongst the busy scenes from ten of the world’s best-loved ballets, including the romantic Swan Lake, the magical Cinderella and the spectacular, sweet-filled The Nutcracker.

As well as spotting the ballerina, there are a whole cast of other characters for you to find, including the Swan

Princess, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Puck, a mischievous fairy servant. Each ballet comes with a summary so that you can easily follow the drama and excitement of every story.

What do Entertain The Kids Think?

My little girl is almost 15yr, being the mum of a 7yr old boy, I don’t tend to give such books a second glance, unless buying as a gift, so I was delighted when Where’s The Ballerina? landed on my desk for review.

Where’s The Ballerina? was written by Anna Claybourne and beautifully illustrated by Abigail Goh. Where’s The Ballerina? is a delightful introduction to many classics including Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cinderalla and many others.

Each title provides an introduction, including facts where the ballet is originally based and the scene is set ready for your child to read a short story whilst admiring the pictures and trying to find the Ballerina. You will find the answers towards the back of the book.

With the release of Ballerina at Cinema’s across the UK on 19 December, the timing couldn’t be better.

Where’s The Ballerina? is available to pre-order from Amazon and will be released for sale on 2 February 2017.
