Looking for something different for Easter? Something other than chocolate? The newly-launched Oglee Poglee Craft Boxes make for delightful non-chocolate Easter gifts . Aimed at ages 3-7, these story-led craft boxes are bursting with quality crafting activities – enough to keep two little people busy for an afternoon and beyond.

Oglee Poglee is a made-up world starring a curious creature called Oglee Pip, who spends his days exploring new things with his magic button. With each craft box, little ones join Oglee Pip on a fun-fuelled adventure and become intrepid explorers (they contain a customisable storybook, magic button plus the all-important crafting materials).

There are 4 x larger Craft Boxes (Bugs & Butterflies, Space Adventure, The Invention and Ocean Adventure – RSP £17.99) and 4 x smaller, seasonal Little Crafty Boxes (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter RSP £9.99). They can be purchased online direct with Oglee Poglee.

Entertain the Kids were asked to review “Space Adventure” which delighted William (my 5yr old).  Everything you could need is in the box which is parceled in such an appealing way.  We had hours of fun, though it did get a little messy.  But with everything you need included there is no need to go to the expense of buying lots of different craft bits.

New range of story-led craft boxes

There are four Craft Boxes in Oglee Poglee’s fun, interactive range (RSP £17.99). Children become intrepid explorers and, depending on which box you choose, can travel with Oglee Pip into deep space, dodging flying comets and collecting moon dust (Space Adventure), or they can go on a nature walk, discovering bugs in the long grass and helping rescue a ladybird (Bugs & Butterflies). Perhaps they might enjoy inventing a speed machine (The Invention) or unearth some ocean treasure and befriend a sea turtle (Ocean Adventure)? When you order an Oglee Poglee Craft Box, everything you need is jam-packed into the box, including an Oglee Pip adventure story, a magic button and even PVA glue, so there’s no need to buy any extra bits!

In addition, there is a range of seasonal Little Crafty Boxes which take their creative cues from the weather (Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter, RSP £9.99). These include an Oglee Pip themed postcard for children to colour in and style in their own way, which they can send to a friend or family member, plus a range of crafting materials for them to get stuck into, whatever their ability.

Aimed at children aged 3-7 years, and with no monthly subscription (you pay for a box as and when you need it, thus making them ideal gifts) what makes Oglee Poglee Craft Boxes different is that the emphasis is on ‘open-ended’ creative play. Each child decides what to make, thereby avoiding the stress of creating a picture-perfect craft. They can customise Oglee Pip’s story books, design their own creations and even take the magic button off on marvellous adventures of their own choosing. The Craft Boxes can be added to with a Top-Up Box (RSP 7.00) and there is even a Little Crafty Surprise Box (RSP £4.25), which features a surprise mix of crafty bits, offering plenty of scope for experimentation – no two bags are the same!
